Our cell group meeting started at brother John and sister Nienhwa's house in South San Francisco in Oct. 1996. We have been one of many cell groups under Home of Christians, East Los Angeles (HOCELA). Since then we have been blessed by God, and experienced the power of Holy Spirit and love of Jesus Christ. Many friends and neighbors were invited to come to the meeting, and God has done many miracles among us. In the mid of year 1999, most cell group members left due to job relocation or moved to other cities. God did not allow us to establish a church at that time.In Dec. 1999, brother John and sister Nienhwa moved to Millbrae and the cell group meeting place was changed to their new house at South Ashton Ave. A new group was formed and we continued to do outreach and discipleship. There are about 20 adults and 14 children who have been regularly and consistently attending the meeting every Saturday night. After waiting and praying for a long tme, in the beginning of the year 2005, we decided to step out our comfort zone to move the meeting place from John's house to the communtiy. Starting from 5/14/05, we rented two classrooms in New Vision Methodist Church in Millbrae. God has prepared our hearts for a greater challenge in preaching gospel and preparing to establish a church in the community.

Starting from March, 2006, we had invited many different teams from HOCELA to come to preach gospel on the fourth weekend every month. During that weekend, we had worship service on Sunday morning at brother John's house in addition to Saturday night's gospel meeting. Many gospel friends have accepted Jesus as their saviour. Praise the Lord.

At this time, we continue to wait for the Lord's guidance for next step in building the church. We believe that He has His timeline, and we are willing to know His blueprint and will, and accomplish His mission.
